The Belltec H-series is available in five models heavy duty work. These units have a bolt-on flange for protection of the gear unit. Belltec provides the first tubular frame on the market with the largest and strongest cradle.
Belltec downward-pressure hydraulic diggers provide the ability to dig more vigorously through harder materials from dirt to solid rock and concrete with slower drilling speeds from higher capacity hydraulics. These units mount easily to most models of skid steer loaders, backhoes, extending boom forklifts, mini excavators, excavators and tractor front-end loaders. Coupled with BELLTEC's full line of augers for dirt and rock, these drilling units meet all your drilling needs from dirt to solid rock and concrete.
FEATURES:
- Heavy-Duty Reversible Hydraulic Motor. High pressure seal. No snap rings
- Belltec "heavier-than-them all" PLANETARY Gear Reduction
- Heavy-Duty Flange-Mount Drive Housing constructed of 3/8" steel plate
- Tubular Quick-Detach Frame - available for skid steer loader mounting
- Swivel-Type Mounting Kits for backhoes and excavators available
- Use with Belltec H-Series Augers - the heaviest and most proven for rock and dirt
- Heavy-Duty Nut - prevents shaft pull out
- Bolt-On 2" Hex Output Shaft - Exclusive on Belltec H Series Drives:
A special flange with shear bolts offers transmission protection. Tear this up and a $150 replacement saves an expensive transmission replacement or repair.
MODELS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Fit the right model to your hydraulic system. Optimum auger speed for dirt is upwards to 100 RPM but for drilling solid rock you need low RPM. The correct Belltec unit will match your hydraulic flow range with your desired output speeds, with consideration to your usage duty.

Choose Augers and Extensions.
Dirt augers are mostly for the Midwest alluvial soils. The "penny test" indicates rock harness. Either the penny will scratch the rock or the rock will scratch the penny. Belltec Augers will drill either but hard rock REQUIRES maximum down pressure and maximum torque. But the heaviest-duty auger you can afford. Replacement teeth are inexpensive but not commonly needed. Belltec Augers are standard in four foot lengths with extensions to six foot. Additional extensions or an Ellington Expandable Kelly Bar can be added to dig to depths of 20 plus feet. (Belltec has an excellent warranty up to five years on some models but limited to 10 foot depths).
