The tines are made from 100,000 PSI steel. Each pair is engineered
to hold the equivalent of comparable pallet forks matching machine
capacity. The 2 1/2 yard bucket has forks 6 ft. in length and the
5 yd. has forks 8 ft. in length. The working end of a tine tapers,
facilitating easy ground penetration.
Tines are attached to the backplate via tubes which extend
through the slant wall of the bucket to the backplate. The tine tubes
are welded completely at each contact surface. The tines are freely
inserted into the tubes and easily removable. Because the tines have
limited play within the tubes, shock and vibration generated from the
work is dissipated within the tines, thus protecting the welds and
strength of the bucket.
Locking bolts hold the tines in position within the tine tubes, and
make tine removal easy.
The JackBucket mounts using the standard mounting ears for
wheel loaders. It fits all sizes and all models of wheel loaders
including John Deere, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Case and others.
The backplate has been designed and engineered for safety
and visibility of the operator.
