The tines are made from 1.375 inch 100,000 PSI steel. Each tine pair is engineered to hold a 4,800 pound load at a 24 inch load center. There are three pair of tines. The tines are 4 feet long and 4 inches wide.
The working end of a tine tapers to a half inch. This facilitates easy ground penetration.
Tines are attached to the backplate via 14 inch tubes which extend through the slant wall of the bucket to the backplate. The tine tubes are welded completely at each contact surface. The tines are freely inserted into the tubes and easily removable. Because the tines have limited play within the tubes, shock and vibration generated from the work is dissipated within the tines, thus protecting the welds and strength of the bucket.
Locking bolts hold the tines in position within the tine tubes, and make tine removal easy.
The JackBucket mounts using the standard mounting frame for skid-steers. It fits all sizes and all models of skid-steers including Melroe Bobcat, John Deere, New Holland, Caterpillar, Case, Gehl and others. |
