This shear was designed with the Central or Southern Plains landowner or contractor in mind and is equipped for taking bushy juniper or cedar trees, groups of mesquite and pesky undergrowth.

A Dymax 20” Forestry Tree Shear with accumulator is installed on a 20 ton hydraulic excavator. Unit is used in clearing roadways and maintaining country road right-of-ways. Considerable time is saved and exposure to worker compensation claims from manual clearing is reduced. Shear can be equipped with either manual or hydraulic rotator.

Dymax 10" Land Clearing Tree Shears are ideal for such applications as pasture reclamation and hedge row maintenance. Torsionally rigid box section with large pivot pin will withstand twisting loads encountered in shearing. For machines with a minimum of 40 hp, 10 to 18 gpm oil flow, 1700 to 3000 psi operating pressures and 1,300 pounds of operating capacity.
