RSA Augers are really a dirt auger on steroids, but not applicable for solid rock applications. In soils that have fractured rocks in them these heavier than normal augers will work well and last. Carbide spade-type replaceable teeth and heavier flighting than the dirt augers make the durability. These work day-in, day-out for many but will not hold up in the most demanding applicatoions. More money than the dirt augers but less than the bullet tooth units. Standard with 2" hex couplers, others available.
